SLO SATURDAZE
just another slow day in SLO. After waking with a severe case of whiskey brain, a cup of joe, and the keys to my lady's car I headed over to the park to meet up with the days crew. After a quick shred and a battle of the flip tricks we try to decide on the nowhere to go.......
As usual, its "whos got the spot?" and it was good ol Shamus' turn to pick. We ended up at Bishops for a sec. Tim has stepped up to the plate as the secondary filmer.
I think anyone in the BS crew knows its a difficult task when filming the filmer. the devil gives this clip the ok.
after a little more deliberation we decided to leave SLO and head out to osos to search for new street terrain to skate. Ended up passing a very depressing scene (osos park) only to see a sea of full padded lameness. for a second i thought that all the monitors may have been fired, killed, or called in sick so we could get some concrete carnage.........................only in my wildest dreams. so on to monarch grove for some ledge action.
Shamus under the sea.........looking not very metal. off to a couple more spots in the overcast tweeker wasteland that is los osos to find nothing, then its back to SLO for intermission. you know what that means. More deliberation on spots, driving only to find a highway patrol party at destination 1, parked cars at destination 2, then finally i remember something with potential. and it pays off.
A nice tall ledge over a gap can never go wrong. only shane left the VX1 at the house........luckily the 2 is on standby. Justin got some both good and bad.
This wasnt the worst one but it looks bad. This dude doesnt give up even if it means shoulder checkin the pavement.
and Justin leaves with a really sick feeble. I aint no photographer but pretty pumped on the only skate shot of the day. Then its off to the house for some much earned brews.

Washington DC
Its been a long-time coming... ever since I met Johnny, I've wanted to visit Virginia to check his old stompin' grounds. Last Sunday ideas became reality. Leaving at 11:30, Sunday night, the crew (Me, Geronimo, Matt Phillips, and Matt Pelsue) drove 11 hours through the night to our destination of Fairfax, Virginia. Shooting airsoft guns at everything we could, crackin jokes and talkin shit, we pulled up around noon Monday. Though our stay was short, Johnny and the DC homies made our trip one that will not soon be forgotten... Thanks brotha!
Forgive my nerding out on the monuments... but they were just too awesome not to post.
Lincolns Sinkin', literally.
Courthouse Steps...
This is Bill... Bill Kills.
Johnny Ransom has blown the fuck up... and mashes up pool coping like nobody's business... backside smitherines.
Thanks for the hospitality Johnny, you showed us a hell of a time.

More shots from Ol' Unkie Rob
the continuation of the "rob finally stopped by today" post a few days ago................I'm going to have to say when it comes to shredication, Justin shows the colors. he had already gotten this hydrant kickflip a while back and thought to get a photo for the Swet, except this time around there wasnt a slew of Santa Maria's finest combing the streets for armed vatos tryin to jack fools.
As for this one..............I have no story other than Mr. Ben Cabreana is the fuckin man and we wish him the best on his journey to the Crossroads in San Clemente. he's got the snap (which i can safely say that the footage does this more justice than the photo, look at that beanie capturing the goods).

CAYUCOS GETTIN CLOSER........
by the looks of it, the wait for a new home is well beyond just a thought. judging by the looks of this pic, a new love is soon to be found. Ethan, Joel, and anyone who has helped with this project get a BREW SWET shred pack the first day! cheers mates!
ROB FINALLY STOPPED BY TODAY.
after many days of waiting, the infamous Rob showed up to supply me with some shots from a couple weeks ago. I initially was in the mix and ready to ride with the crew but suddenly had a bitch like period moment and stayed behind. the homie as usual come home with some bangers at the "potato gap".
Shamus also killin it with the famous switch back heel.
there may be some pics from this day that didnt make it to the disc...........so stay posted.
Justin comin through with a very proper tre-flip.

Bad ideas and good times
You could call it church... every Monday, we round up the crew, get in the car and make our way to pay our respects to the skateboard. This time, as we were flyin down I-75 we figured we would help a semi represent.
Two hours later we arrived in the heat of the day... Johnathan Hatcher Skatepark- Colombus, GA
Mid-freeway sticker slap. The first try left the sticker flappin' in the wind... so we circled our prey and went in for the kill.

If it were for the brews... we would surely have not made it back alive.
